12 hot temp jobs that pay $15 an hour-plus





Check out the following list of fast-growing occupations for temporary employment from 2014 to 2019, all of which pay $15 or more per hour.
There are some things in life that we're glad were just a passing trend, like Zubaz pants or the bowl cut hairdo. When it comes to jobs, it looks like temporary employment isn't going out of style anytime soon, and for job seekers looking for flexibility or to gain new work skills, that's a good thing.
Nearly 3 million people are employed in temporary jobs today, and a new study from CareerBuilder and Economic Specialists Intl. shows that number will continue to rise in 2015 and beyond. Temporary employment is expected to grow 3 percent from 2014 to 2015 and 13 percent from 2014 to 2019.
According to Eric Gilpin, president of vertical sales, CareerBuilder, 2 in 5 U.S. employers expect to hire temporary or contract workers this year, opening doors for workers who want to build relationships with different organizations and explore their career options.

1. Computer systems analysts* study an organization's current computer systems and procedures and design information systems solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively.
